Track Time: 3:47 Chico Mendoza, leader of Ocho, auditioned for Bobby in 1972 at the United Artists studios in NY, where they immediately signed a recording contract to record a series of albums. Bobby gave them the Ocho name and recorded, using vocalists Manny Roman, Freddy Delgado, Jimmy Sabater and Willie Torres. The instrumentation of the band, besides Chico's swinging rhythm section, includes three saxes and Chico on the vibes. Very little echo was used on these recordings in order to bring about the dry, present sound that has characterized Ocho throughout the years.
